Compared to the flamboyant Romanesque design of its Annex neighbors, this Georgian style semi-detached is rather reserved and understated.
What is eye-catching is of course the central carriageway in the middle leading to the backyard stable.
It shows, even back in 1875, functionality was incorporated into the design. Interior space was maximized without disrupting convenience.

The narrow oriel bay window is accented by a gothic gable. The front oriel belongs to No.25. The rear belongs to No.29. The black window frames is a lovely contrast to the white façade.
The simple colors, or I suppose the lack of it, with just black and white paint, and a bit of gardening has created a timeless beauty.

Behind the carriage house stands 20 Prince Arthur Ave.
Designed in 1965 by Canadian architect Uno Prii, Prince Arthur Towers according to Uno, is his favorite building, out of his over 250 designs.
This mid-century-modern apartment has space age rocket-like arches that flare outwards and soar 22 storey upwards, crowning the tower.
