Through the wrought iron picket fence, the angled flagstone pathway leads to the offset building entrance.
The lack of frontage on St. Clair means architecture firm Kaplan & Sprachman had to be a bit imaginative and designed the main entrance of this Tudor Revival apartment from Spadina Road.

The arched doorway is wrapped in cast stone with a decorative “staircase” stepped pattern at the top. The dark brown brickwork blends in harmony with the surrounding greenery and continues with a few rhombus stone accents in between.
To stand out from nearby grand apartments like The Balmoral, Claridge and Clarendon, Wembley Apartments has its own “medieval” charm with a touch of asymmetry.

The entrance design is crowned with a decorative brick parapet trimmed with stone crenellations (tooth like gaps) reassembling a Tudor castle. The window design on the left replicates a castle’s arrowslit.
The overhanging oriel window with a gable roof and Juliette balconies are wrapped in timber decors, with faux-chalk white stucco in between, a common signature of Tudor Revival architecture.
